The holiday is only about a week away!  This is a reminder that you are all invited to celebrate our nation’s independence at our place if you like.  This invitation extends out to anybody that you guys know so please pass it on.  We will have three large tents set up to keep us out of the weather.  We will have some music set up and R&R (and Ed Hogan?) will be playing live music for us all evening long. 

Of course we will play our mini horseshoe tournaments all day long.  So bring some quarters (we play for big money) and come and play.  Each tournament we draw partners from a hat so you play with different folks every time.  Play will start at 2:00, or when we get enough interested parties.  Any games you guys have and want to bring (cards, Croquet, Volleyball, whatever) please do so.

I will supply hamburgers and hotdogs, home grilled!  Anything else to eat will be whatever you guys want to bring.  A dish to pass is NOT a requirement for coming over, however.  But DO bring what you want to drink because I may not have enough to share with everybody. 

The highlight of the evening will be the City of Fenton’s fireworks show which is launched right down the street, so we have an incredible view from our yard.  The best part is parking is free!  AND, since it’s a Saturday this year, no one needs to go home early, so come early and stay late.

Please let me know if you will be attending so I can have enough grub.  So far I have the following positive RSVP; White, Kuderko, Roedel, Pettibone, Medar, Lester, Dorsch, Helm, Griggs, McDonnell, Pardikes, Dombrowski.  I’m sure I forgot a couple of verbal so please reply to this if you are coming.  Hope you all can!
